Father John Misty Performs At Village Underground

Father John Misty‘s compelling live energy was certainly  on point last night on “The Late Show With Stephan Colbert”. John Tillman, who performs under the alias Father John Misty treated the New York audience to a beautiful rendition of his “Holy Shit” track from his critically acclaimed I Love You, Honeybear album.

Albeit without an orchestral arrangement which accompanied him on the studio version, Father John Misty made the most of what little he had and delivered the goods. To truly capitalise on the strong ending of the track there was an enthralling drum solo and explosion of lights all worked together harmoniously.
