Fifty Shades Trilogy Could Go… Tetralogy? | Film News

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fifty Shades trilogy author, E.L. James, sat down to discuss the upcoming movie Fifty Shades Darker, the soundtrack, possible future projects and more.

When asked about a possible fourth installment to the series, which had concluded with third book, Fifty Shades Freed (2012), James was very open-minded about the possibility of the erotic romance series’ universe continuing.

There’s a chance,” she told Cameron Mathison in the interview for ET. “But I’ve got other things I’d like to do. I’ve written another novel as well”.

The interview also revealed Taylor Swift to be one of the millions of fans that fell in love with the series, if her participation in the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack wasn’t a dead giveaway!

She asked if she could use the book in a video, and I thought, ‘The book is too famous! I just don’t want it to be any more famous, please!” James laughed.

“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” is the first song on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, which is expected to release February 10 on iTunes, and the first ever collaboration between popular singers, Zayn and Taylor Swift. The music video dropped last week and the song sits at number 6 on iTunes’ Top Songs chart.
