Fightstar Announce London Gig To Mark 10th Anniversary | Music News
British rockers Fightstar, lead by lead man Charlie Simpson (Ex-Busted), have announced that they will play the London Forum on December 16th to mark the bands’ ten year anniversary. The band’s website had recently featured a countdown clock which was labelled simply as ‘News’ with the countdown ending yesterday (October 13) to reveal news of the gig. Fightstar, formed of Charlie Simpson, Alex Westaway, Dan Haigh and Omar Abidi, have been on hiatus since late 2010 and last toured in 2010 in support of their Be Human album.
A statement, about their London gig, has been released on their website which reads: “Hi all, we are very pleased to announce that we are playing a ten year anniversary show on December 16th at the London Forum. It has been 10 years since the inception of this band and we wanted to celebrate it with a bang. We want to thank you all for your love and support over the past ten years and we can’t wait to commemorate this milestone with you guys”. Ticket pre-sale starts on Wednesday, 15th October at 9am from the venue or AEG Live, while general tickets go on sale from Friday, October 17 at 9am.
