First Image Of Tom Hiddleston As Hank Williams In ‘I Saw The Light’ | Film News

The first image of Tom Hiddleston as country music legend Hank Williams in biopic I Saw The Light has been released. The film is written and directed by Marc Abraham, known for producing In Time (2011) and Dawn of the Dead (2004), and has been adapted from the Hank Williams biography by Colin Escott. Williams, who died in 1953, is still considered one of the most significant and influential country artists who rose to fame quickly but sadly died at the early age of 29 from heart failure.

The film was shot in Louisiana, with a supporting cast made up of Elizabeth Olsen, David Krumholtz, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson, Cherry Jones, Josh Pais and Wrenn Schmidt. After the release of this image, we can expect a trailer release soon.

I saw the light is set for a November 27 US release, with no further word on a UK release date yet. Take a look at the image below.
