On November 27, 2015, The Martian will be out in cinemas, but for now we have the first images from this film published by 20th Century Fox exclusively on Empire Online. With Matt Damon playing the leading man, the film also stars the likes of Jessica Chanstain, Michael Peña, Kate Mar, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Kristen Wiig. The Martian is based on Andy Weir’s 2012 best-selling novel in which an astronaut, Mark Watney, forming part of a science team researching Mars, is left behind on the planet after a storm hits and he is presumed dead by his teammates. After noticing he is stranded in that inhospitable place, he tries to survive as best as he can, while his team is trying to bring him back home. Having a cast like this and a best-seller to reference, this movie is set to be a great film worth heading to the cinema to watch upon its release.
