Disney has released the first poster for Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory. Directed by Finding Nemo headrunner Andrew Stanton, The film will follow Dory (Voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) who with the help of Marlin and Nemo, seeks the answers to her past and strives to discover who her family are; Also featuring the voices of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ed O’Neill and Ty Burrell.
The poster is simple – it tells you nothing of the plot and in fact doesn’t even show you the entire character. But it doesn’t need to, and Disney know it. Everybody knows who Dory is, and they use her fame and her famous line in the most basic way to generate excitement for the movie in this effective piece of marketing.
