Flight Of The Conchords To Reunite For 2015 Tour | Music News

Jermaine Clement, one half of the Comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, has revealed that he and Bret McKenzie have spoken about getting together for a tour of the US in late 2015. Nothing is confirmed as of yet but the two working together again is something that is definitely on the cards. They had previously toured together in 2010 and 2013, after their HBO show last aired in 2009.

McKenzie spoke of his eagerness to write with Clement again after he won an Oscar Award in 2011 for his original song for The Muppets; “Man Or Muppet”. Flight of the Conchords subsequently toured in 2013 with a string of 13 shows throughout the US and it seems as though the two will be back on the road again. Clement has recently expressed a desire to get back to playing live shows.

His most recent work has been his acting role in People, Places, Things, a Jim Strouse drama which he is currently promoting. Bret McKenzie oversaw the soundtrack of Muppets Most Wanted – the sequel to The Muppets, for which he wrote the Oscar Award-winning track. He has also had small roles in An Unexpected Journey and The Battle of the Five Armies of The Hobbit trilogy. You can find the Oscar Award-winning track “Man Or Muppet”, and can watch a clip of People, Places, Things below.
