Foals Cover Florence + The Machine ‘What Kind Of Man’ | Music News
Yesterday’s BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge saw Foals following the Live Lounge tradition of performing a cover, for which they chose Florence + The Machine’s “What Kind Of Man”: the lead single from Florence’s most recent record, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
The group were due to perform in September, but this was postponed after lead-singer and guitarist Yannis Philppakis lost his voice.
The cover was received well, and towards the end of the track, the Foals switched into the end of their lead single from their most recent release, ‘What Went Down.’ Check out the cover below.
The Foals are set to tour in early 2016, for which you can see the tour dates below.
Glasgow, The SSE hydro (February 12)
Manchester, Arena (February 13)
London, The SSE Arena, Wembley (February 16)
Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena (February 19)
Leeds, First Direct Arena (February 20)
