Foals have recruited young beat architect, Mura Masa, for a remix of their single, “Night Swimmers”. The original track is off of the band’s 2016 album, What Went Down, and this new version is a more dance-inducing rendition, and has synthesisers, thick and quite aquatic deep.
This is amidst echoing vocals and nice, deep bass. The bass helps submerge the track further. The vocal track is then cut up as the drums suit a more dance and house crowd. Cyclical, busy guitar plays, really adding depth to an already busy track. A middle section features moody bass, with a subsequent drum refrain as the cyclical guitar appears, again.
