Foo Fighters Perform In Italy Following Fans Request | Music News
In July 2015, a group called Rockin’1000 organised a 1000-man performance of one of the Foo Fighters‘ greatest hits – “Learn To Fly” – in Cesena, Italy. The video of the performance, which also implored the band to come to Cesena, went viral and lead singer Dave Grohl not only saw, but posted a video of his own confirming that they would play!
On November 3, Rockin’1000’s dream was realised and the band performed a whopping twenty-seven songs for them starting, of course, with “Learn To Fly”. During the gig, Grohl thanked the group and explained how much the summer stunt meant to him and the band.
