Fortified’s spin on “Lose Twice” lets fans and listeners alike hear his affirmation of not losing in all that he is aiming for in life and on his musical journey.
The first part speaks of what he has learnt in life and how much of a teacher life is. The second verse showcases Fortified’s capability in succeeding, speaking of how he has perfected his craft and become so diverse with his music, with lyrics like “from hip-hop to Reggae, House to Ragga”.
And the last part denotes how he will leave a mark with his music, with the bridge introducing his affirmation with lyrics like “learn from mistakes, I gotta clock it/Can’t lose twice from early, gotta spot it”.
