I am very excited to announce that Foxygen’s new album …And Star Power is out today via Jagjaguwar. The band has also shared the brand new music video for latest single “Coulda Been My Love”, where Foxygen’s retro sound is captured and dramatically represented. The video, directed by Grant Singer, showcases Sam France dressed in a 70s outfit, singing and dancing in what seem to be very expensive places. The clip takes the shape of a reflective and almost sentencing regret of a love that wasn’t fulfilled: wherever he is, the words “coulda been my love” keep echoing in his head. Though its intention is to be melodramatic, it’s visually pretty entertaining. Enjoy.
