‘Game Of Thrones’ Leads Emmy Awards Nominations | TV News

 

HBO’s high fantasy drama Game Of Thrones leads the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, earning 24 nods. Lead actor Peter Dinklage has earned his fifth straight nomination for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series’ for his role as Tyrion Lannister. Dinklage won the award in 2011. Lead actresses Lena Heady and Emilia Clarke are set to go up against one another in the ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series’ category. Other nominations for the show include ‘Outstanding Drama Series’ and ‘Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series’. The 67th Primtime Emmy Awards will air on September 20 on Fox in the US.
