George R.R. Martin To Write ‘Wild Cards’ Adaptation | TV News
From Westeros to the 1940s, things are going from height to height for George. The creator of the book series and HBO’s juggernaut show, Game Of Thrones, the author has confirmed that a 1940s superhero alien fantasy series is to be adapted for television.
Based on a series of gritty novels the author wrote 30 years ago, Wild Cards features a sprawling fantasy world with deformed humans, mind reading, flying superheroes and will explore issues of bigotry and raw political ambition. Considering the current mood in America with the presidential election such things seem apt.
