Girlpool – Plants And Worms | Music Video

Animated clips are the new trend lately, and there is a new one for “Plants and Worms”, the latest track to be released from the forthcoming self-titled EP by Los Angeles teen band Girlpool. Through kind of Van Gogh-inspired watercolor paintings, the video recreates the anxiety of facing life and how you have to find the strength to fight your fears.

Band member Cleo Tucker spoke to Rookie about the single saying, “Plants and Worms is about how scary life can be and just feeling afraid to step out of your comfort zone, and then realizing that’s how we grow… It’s about how much the world has to offer, and how coming out on the other side is more rewarding than staying comfortable. Once you jump in, it’s all worthwhile“.

The Girlpool EP will be out on November 17 on Wichita Recordings, and can be pre-ordered here. Watch the animated “Plants And Worms” visuals, created by Catleya Sherbow below.
