Grieving, from Cambridge, are not as morbid as their name might suggest. With a nod towards late Nineties and early Noughties indie-rock and punk, their debut EP, Demonstrations, released last month, saw early support with several songs seeing plays at either BBC Radio 1 or 6 through Huw Stephens, Dan P Carter and Tom Ravenscroft.

The New Tusk described themselves as “lo fidelity short attention span punk”, with Pet Grief regarding themselves as “Slow Hands”. Members of Tellison, with whom Grieving tour in November, once worked in an arts cinema alongside two members of the latter. For more information on all dates, please see as shown below:

I've always wanted to be involved in the media since before I even left school; to write for a living.I feel most eloquent when mapping out my thoughts on paper or on a computer screen.I studied media at college for two years, and went straight into third year at university studying publishing with journalism. After a range of work experience, I did a magazine journalism course in Bournemouth, a long way away from my hometown of Aberdeen, achieving my NCTJ qualifications. Now I spend my time gladly writing about music.
