Gwen Stefani – Misery | Music Video

After two failed attempts at dominating the charts, anti-aging popstar Gwen Stefani tries again. The No Doubt front woman just released a video for her latest single, from the #1 album This Is What the Truth Feels Like, “Misery”.

The track is a mid tempo with lyrics full of hope and an infectious bassline, which will probably stick in our heads for a long time and will help in climbing the charts. The video is directed by her long time collaborator Sophie Muller (“Cool”, “4 In The Morning”, “Early Winter”), and features over-the-top outfits, Harajuku wigs, dancers and… a horse! Classic Gwen.

I speak as loud as the volume I listen to music, and this is probably symptomatic of my love for pop music: I love pop music because it is often unapologetically in-your-face, it shouts rather than tell, it drives you crazy. And after 21 years loving pop music, I think I’ve completely gone mad. It all started in 1997, when my mum bought me my first cassette: needless to say, it was ‘Barbie Girl’ by Aqua, and from that point on, it’s been a never-ending loving relationship between me and music. I study, work and live life part-time, and listen to music full-time.
