Game Of Thrones: Season 6 wrapped up last June with nearly nine million people tuning in and a boatload of accolades set to follow. But the fans? More bloodthirsty than ever.
Luckily for them, the seventh season of HBO’s epic is just around the corner, or so reveals the fun interactive Facebook Live event hosted earlier today that attracted over 150,000 fans!
Facebook users were encouraged to spam the comments with “fire” and “dracarys”, which would spur the on-hand flamethrower to continue to defrost a giant block of ice that, lo and behold, revealed the premiere date for penultimate (aw) to be set for July 16!
Game Of Thrones: Season 7 will have seven episodes, with the finale determining the number of episodes for the eighth and final season. It isn’t a good Game of Thrones season without plenty of angst and the upcoming season is expected to be bleak and nerve-wracking, especially with Jon Snow and Daenerys’ first meeting quickly approaching.
