Hermès ‘Wanderland’ Exhibition Opens At The Saatchi Gallery | Fashion News

French label Hermès has launched a quintessentially Parisian exhibition at Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery. The luxury brand’s creative director Pierre-Alexis Dumas chose the flâneur – a French term meaning to stroll – as the theme for this year’s exhibition, which celebrates the House of Hermès’ nearly two hundred year history over a space of 11 rooms. Combining pieces of the Hermès archives with some of Emile Hermès‘ personal items and the label’s most recent trademark, the cane, the “immersive” exhibition takes the viewer to the old-world Parisian streets with twists of surrealism and modernity. Hermès’ Wanderland is in London until May 2 before heading to Paris and Turin.
