There is a new Jewish deli to frequent for those hip-hop in spirit. Rapper, Despot, and producer, El-P, have announced the opening of a deli called Frankel’s in Brooklyn.

Despot said, “I’m opening a Jewish deli with some of my friends tomorrow. You may be familiar with some of them. It’s called frankel’s. I haven’t said much about it. Now I am. It’s at 631 Manhattan Ave in greenpoint. The food is jewlicious. Come hang out with me there tomorrow and forever. This is not an April fools joke. I forgot that was today. You’re an April fools joke”.

The restaurant, which was the idea of Holy Ghost!’s Alex Frankel, and brother Zach, has hired former Food Network kitchen cook Ashley Berman as the executive chef. El-P is co-owner, and he is been pushing the new spot on Twitter.
