It’s back! The first episode of 2015’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! aired on ITV last night, attracting a show-stopping 10 million viewers. However, it seems we can’t escape from reality TV stars nowadays, for three new “celebrities”, namely Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews, TOWIE’s Ferne McCann and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison have joined the already existing camp residents to gain a true jungle experience, (and probably raise their celebrity profiles).
The three new entries will join the line-up that includes: Dragon’s Den investor Duncan Bannatyne, British boxing legend Chris Eubank, fashion journalist Susannah Constantine and X-Factor reject George Shelley (who?).
Adding the three young singletons seems to be a rather unsubtle way for ITV to try and create romance in the jungle, for a spokesman previously stated: “The original line-up had a bit of everything but there were not many youngsters and these extra stars guarantee more young viewers – as well as increasing the prospect of flirting and fighting in camp”.
