Infamous Liverpool Venue The Kazimier Under Threat From Closure | Music News
The Kazimier in Liverpool is a venue that has come on leaps and bound over the years, getting better and better for gigs and is a real asset to the City musically, having recently held gigs for Liverpool Music Week and Liverpool Sound City. Not forgetting the picturesque wonderland of Kazimier Garden managed by the legendary Clarry Moforth at the back, which is pure heaven! It was not that long ago, venue Mello Mello too faced closure, even with additional support from people!
According to reports, The Kazimier could be set to close as the venue falls under a re-development scheme around Wolstenholme Square. This whole area is set for an entire revamp as Hope Street Properties Ltd are looking to start their building works over the coming two years! This would be a real shame if great venues like Mello Mello too are subjected to closure, and kicked out for a new ideal from property investors. Let’s keep The Kazimier where it belongs!!!
