ITV Unveils Rival To The BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, ‘Dance, Dance, Dance’ | TV News
Strictly Come Dancing or Dance Dance Dance? There’s only room for one celebrity dancing show on this autumn. ITV has launched a big-budget rival to BBC’s dance juggernaut Strictly Come Dancing, the makers of The Voice coming up with Dance Dance Dance. Celebrities will have to recreate famous dance routines from music videos, movies and theatre in a six part series that will air next year.
In line with the Governments white paper, the show is not expected to be scheduled against Strictly Come Dancing, a progamme insider commenting on the show:
“It will have a very different feel to any other dance show out there, it will use state of the art technology and augmented reality to put celebrities into classic dance routines of the past, from Thriller to Singing in the Rain”.
