Jennifer Lawrence to Make Directorial Debut With ‘Project Delirium’ | Film News
Everybody loves Jennifer Lawrence. The 25 year old actress is the highest paid actress in Hollywood, part of one of the most financially and critically successful movie franchises, a superhero, an Academy Award Winner, and a staunch advocate of equal pay for women in Hollywood. Not satisfied with achieving what many would dream of doing in a life time, at such a young age, J-Law is going to make her directorial debut with Project Delirium.
Project Delirium is a film based on an article published in 2012 called Operation Delirium in The New Yorker, about military doctors conducting medical experiments on soldiers during the Cold War. Lawrence spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the project, and many other things, saying; “I’ve wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that. If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn’t have been ready. Now I actually feel ready”. Here’s hoping that Lawrence can bring her determination and undeniable talent shown in her acting and channel that into her directorial career.
