Jennnifer Morrison Quits ‘Once Upon A Time’ And Will Not Return As Regular For Season 7 | TV News
The fairytale is over for Jennifer Morrison as she has announced her decision to quit Once Upon a Time and will not return as a series regular if the show is renewed for a seventh season.
Jennifer who plays Emma Swan in the ABC fantasy series broke the news via her Instagram account. In the post she explains that she’d been approached with the possibility about extending her contract but declined the offer.
She wrote, “after very careful consideration I have decided that creatively and personally it’s time for me to move on. Emma Swan is one of my favourite characters that I have ever played. My six years on ‘Once Upon a Time’ has changed my life. I am so honoured to have been a central part of such a special show“.
She did however state that she will appear in one episode of season seven, if it gets renewed. So maybe we will be seeing more of her after the season six finale. The promo for which can be seen below.
