Game of Thrones is the genie that keeps on granting actors wishes for better and better things, especially if your British. Jessica Henwick, who plays Nymeria Sand in the HBO show based on George R.R. Martin’s book series has been confirmed by Marvel as joining the cast of Iron Fist alongside fellow Game of Thrones star Finn Jones, who plays Loras Tyrell.
Henwick will play the female lead, Colleen Wing, a martial arts expert in the big apple who runs her own dojo and will play a vital role in Rand’s return to the city.
EW commented on the casting of Jones as Rand:
“Jones will play Daniel Rand, who returns to New York City after being missing for years. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.”
