West London’s Jevon caps a stellar 2018 with the release of his new A/B-side single “Blossomed“/”Mercy“. ‘Blossomed’, in particular, celebrates a new chapter opening up in the young producer, writer and rapper’s thrilling story.
“Blossomed” is a step into the light and a new dawn, as Jevon shares: “‘Blossomed’ represents the opening of a new chapter of my character and music. It is about building new relationships and providing a platform to for those to ‘blossom’ moving forward. It also hints at where my sound will be heading next year.”
A contrast to previous joints like “Paranoia“, It’s a potent and timely reminder that this story is only just beginning. It’s upbeat and holds that R&B kind of sensuality, like an serenade, and leans more on Jevon’s vocal talents and also his ability to find the pockets in the production while keeping his same grit as a rapper and artist.
Both tracks will also feature on Jevon’s hotly-anticipated upcoming debut EP Judas. Jevon is also plotting his first headline shows in early 2019 – a year in which he looks set to take centre stage and further his ascent to the very top of the UK scene.
