Jidenna’s recent track “Classic Man” is burning the airwaves right now. The single is Jidenna’s contribution to Wondaland Presents: THE EEPHUS, the forthcoming compilation EP to be released by Janelle Monáe’s imprint Wondaland. This weekk, Jidenna’s hit gets the remix treatment from none other than Kendrick Lamar. The Compton kingpin kicks off the track with a clean verse and returns later with more lethal rhymes.
His chaotic voice plays well off the very elaborated, fancy instrumental and Jidenna’s breezy singing style. The remix can also be found on Wondaland Presents: The Eephus, which is due for release on August 14. The six-track EP also features the Jidenna and Janelle Monáe collaboration “Yoga”, plus contributions from Wondaland artists Roman GianArthur and Deep Cotton.
