Jimmy Fallon And Ethan Hawke Become Country Singers On ‘The Tonight Show’ | TV News

Jimmy Fallon decided to take people’s complaints from FMyLife.com and turn them into hilarious country songs. The Tonight Show host was not alone in this, of course, as he invited actor Ethan Hawke to put on his cowboy hat and sing some country tunes! The FMyLife-inspired lyrics were surely interesting.

“Today my dentist gave me laughing gas, and in my drugged-up state, I told him that I wanted to hang out with him. We’re going to an art museum next Tuesday,” sang Hawke, while Fallon got into country mode singing: “Today, I got back my history term paper. The whole thing was crossed out. And at the end, my professor just wrote ‘Nope’”.

Without Fallon and Hawke’s unique voices as well as their very successful country demeanor none of these complaints would have been perfect for a country song. And yet, they now are! The highlight of the performance has to be the ‘spider incident’ – all very valid complaints, though; no judgement. Watch for yourselves below:
