Fallon’s new slot on ‘Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show’

 

Comedic actor turned late night host Jimmy Fallon has announced the guest line-up for the premiere week of his new show. Fallon will be taking the TV spot left vacated by Jay Leno who retired last week, his new show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon premieres on Monday, January 17, 2014.

 

The debut show on Monday has been tagged “the night of the legends“, with Will Smith as the main interview guest, and U2 booked as the musical guests. strong>Jerry Seinfeld and Kristen Wig will appear on the couch with music from Lady Gaga, for the next day. Wednesday brings ‘Hangover’ actor Bradley Cooper and country singer Tim McGraw, while the First Lady Michelle Obama stops by with Will Ferrell (Anchorman) on Friday and music provided by Arcade Fire. Friday has been booked as a one man show with Justin Timberlake as the only guest.

 

The Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon is recorded in front of a live studio audience in The Rockefeller Center in New York City and will air on NBC at 12am after the Olympics from January 17 – January 20, and on January 21, the show will return to its regularly TV slot at 11.35 pm.
