Here comes a new video from Joe Grind. He links up with Kadey James for “Money”, with the video filmed and edited by Leogami The Artist. It, of course, celebrates all things currency.
The track begins with piano, a tad out of tune but works nonetheless to create an intimidating backdrop. The deep bass aids this effect, as do the rapped verses, spat with sizeable anger and matter of fact precision. A creepy keyboard aping that piano fades out the track.
The video itself seems to veer from an office meeting and the guys with their crew, money all over the floor. The former seems to convey frustration and an unfulfilled life, the latter triumph and riches. It closes with him pouring piles of money into a barrel and lighting it.
