Julianne Moore To Play Villain In ‘Kingsman’ Sequel | Film News
The esteemed actress Julianne Moore is in talks to play the villain in the sequel to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service. One of the criticisms of the first film was a lack of decent female roles.
Matthew Vaughn is back on directing duties. The sequel will follow the further adventures of Gary “Eggsy” Unwin (Taron Egerton), the most unlikely recruit for gentlemanly boutique secret agency. Egerton has said that the new movie will see Eggsy travelling to new places as he sorts out problems on the world stage,
Vaughn and regular collaborator Jane Goldman have been working on the script and a June 16, 2017 release date is already pencilled in.
