Juno Temple & Claire Foy Join Steven Soderbergh’s Secret Project | Film News

Steven Soderbergh‘s unretirement seems to be going better than ever. With Logan Lucky set to arrive this year, he has now cast two excellent actors to star in his next project, with most of the details still being under wraps.

Juno Temple (Black Mass) and Claire Foy (The Crown) have signed on to star in Soderbergh’s next film, which reportedly has the working title of Unsane. The kicker is that Soderbergh is apparently planning to shoot the whole film on an iPhone.

Considering this is the man that gave us the weirdness of Schizopolis, helped independent cinema massively with Sex, Lies & Videotape and managed to more than adequately remake an Andrei Tarkovsky film, perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that he’s still willing to take risks and push boundaries.

Very little else is known about the film at this time, though with the Logan Lucky press tour set to heat up soon it’s likely we’ll hear more about this project in the coming months.

Foy has been catapulted towards stardom thanks to starring in Netflix’s The Crown, as she’s set to appear alongside Andrew Garfield in Andy SerkisBreathe, and will soon film Damien Chazelle‘s First Man opposite Ryan Gosling.

Temple remains one of the most engaging actresses to watch on screen, and will next appear in Woody Allen‘s Wonder Wheel, James Franco‘s The Pretenders and the upcoming Amazon series Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.
