Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno To Make Acting Debut In ‘This Is England 90’ | Music News
Kasabians Serge Pizzorno is all set to make his acting debut in the brand new series, This is England 90, as a rave DJ. The series, which follows on from This is England 88, will be set at the start of the Acid House scene in the early 90’s.
Speaking to The Mirror, Thomas Turgoose, who has played Shaun Field in the two previous series and the film, had this to say on the new rock legend’s appearance, “we had Serge from Kasabian DJ-ing, so we had him dressed up in ’90s clobber, and he was an extra”.
So, the role isn’t exactly going to win him an Oscar, but the guitarist has already told the newspaper that he would “love to do more” acting, so keep your eyes peeled for a possible career change. This is England 90 is all set to debut on Channel 4 on September 13.
