The star of Inherent Vice and Steve Jobs Katherine Waterston looks set to be Ridley Scott‘s new leading lady in Alien: Covenant. Little is known about her character apart from being named Daniels.
The film will follow on from Prometheus with Noomi Rapace‘s scientist and Michael Fassbender‘s android David travelling to the Engineers’ home planet. The film will be much more related to previous Alien films than Prometheus and every stage of the xenomorph’s life cycle will be seen. This is all promising news as Prometheus was quite a disappointment and criticised for not feeling like an Alien film.
