A few months ago, Hawaiian artist Kawehi’s cover video of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box” went viral and now she drops some new material in the form of “Anthem”. The signer has been working on her upcoming EP which she started a Kickstarter campaign for, and the success of the cover video saw her surpass her funding goal. She’s is a one woman band who crafts everything in her music, the midi-keyboard, guitar, and beat boxing are all done by her. Not to mention layering her delicate vocals in between all those elements, the girl is talented. Her new EP entitled Robot Heart will be released on July 15. Listen to “Anthem” below.
