Kid Astray – The Christmas Song (Nat King Cole Cover) | New Music

Are you feeling christmassy yet? Need a helping hand? Luckily Norwegian indie-pop group Kid Astray are here to provide their own unique rendition of Nat King Cole’s classic festive tune “The Christmas Song”. The Scandinavian outfit have put down all their instruments and gone completely a capella for their version, providing a Christmas song that isn’t modern and cringe worthy but sounds more traditional, if not a little cheesy. The band explained the reason for taking on the classic hit, “it’s such a beautiful song and we’ve always wanted to do something  a capella. So, Benjamin arranged this barbershop version of The Christmas Song and a few weeks ago we put on our Christmas sweaters and recorded it“. Listen to Kid Astray’s “The Christmas Song” below.
