Krept And Konan Discuss ‘The Long Way Home’, Label Politics, Cashtastic, Daniel Sturridge And More On Not For The Radio | Interviews

For those of you not aware of Not For The Radio, it’s a weekly online show co-hosted by Duane ‘Vis’ Jones, Face4Music’s Chams and Posty of GRM Daily, who interview (Breakfast Club-style) artists and figures of significance to the UK underground music scene over the last 10-15 years.

Since it began in April, the likes of Jammer, Megaman, Lethal Bizzle, Tinchy Stryder and Yungen have all been guests and spoken at length about their careers, projects and finances, and this week saw the longest interview yet in the series as duo Krept & Konan stopped by the show.

The pair have lots of to say over the 90 minutes or so, offering insights into their label situation, their input on their forthcoming album The Long Way Home, private jet trips, their recent car crash, past issues with Dot Rotten and Cashtastic, and much more. There’s plenty to take in here, and it may open your eyes to the realities of a music career and the various criticisms, obstacles and dilemmas that success brings. Long Way Home is released on July 6.
