Lana Del Rey – Terrence Loves You | New Music

In anticipation of her third studio album Honeymoon, Lana Del Rey has recently released “Terrence Loves You” co-written by Rick Nowels. Lana’s haunting voice floats over sumptuous piano keys as if they were not even there. The song sounds like something straight out of a sixties love ballad with modern day recording techniques and possible synth brass instruments thrown in. The lyrics are difficult to decipher but seem to be about missing someone who is no longer with you, in this case, it sounds like it is about a recording artist who is no longer around. Give it a listen below and see if you can work it out.

I am a 23 year-old musician from Luton, who graduated from De Montfort University with a 2:1 in BA Music Technology & Performance. I sing and write songs in my spare time and I am a massive music enthusiast. I listen to all kinds of different music from indie rock and folk to hip hop and deep house, but I am mainly influenced by hip hop and R&B. I have been interested in music all my life, it shaped my life from phase to phase and I cannot live without it. I try and see live music when I can and attended Reading Festival last year to see my favorite indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. My other interests include superhero and horror films, sports and binging on TV shows.
