Laura Mvula is a British soul singer-songwriter from Birmingham. Her recent track, “Overvcome”, was recently released (January 13) which features Nile Rodgers. Now, she has released the visuals for the new track which was premiered via FADER.
When speaking to FADER she said that the new video is meant to echo what “joy feels like—eventually.” She continued “We’re all going through something, but even ‘the caged bird sings of freedom'”.
