Len Goodman To Step Down As Head Judge Of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ | TV News

No, wait, you can’t go, where would I get my dose of seVEN! Len Goodman has announced he will step down as a judge on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing after the next series. He has been head judge since the series launched 12 years ago, and is one of the reasons for its success.

Goodman commented on his decision, saying it was “time to hand the role of head judge to someone else”.

BBC Director of Content, Charlotte Moore, also commented, saying:

“I know we are all going to miss him tremendously, but I also know Len’s final series is going to be full of unmissable moments and I hope audiences will give him the special send-off he so deserves”.
