Lil Uzi Vert – Stole Your Luv | New Music
Lil Uzi Vert is now a single man, but it does not sound like he is happy about it. In fact, he sounds absolutely heartbroken. On Saturday (June 25), the Philly rapper came to Twitter to announce his breakup with longtime girlfriend, Brittany Byrd, and, only an hour later, decided to release a new track, called “Stole Your Luv”.
The track, produced by Lyle LeDuff, has faraway bass, rumbling off in the distance. Autotune aplenty permeates the track, though you could daresay venture it suits the spaced out atmosphere. The drums clap, but sound less rattle than they do the turn of a record on a mixing deck. About the halfway mark you realise he seems genuinely distraught.
