Loved Ones return with a new music video from their forthcoming album, Harness.
The Liverpool quartet’s shift in musical direction shows the diversity of their repertoire. The Loved Ones have already placed their mark in their lo-fi, ambient rock debut album, The Merry Monarch, and yet they have flawlessly gravitated to a more eclectic but alt-pop focused sound for their new single, “Without Faces.”
The lead singer, Nik Glover, deals with the heavy topic of losing his father during heart bypass in “Without Faces.” However, like the band’s seamless transition from ambient to electronic sounds, Loved Ones are able to successfully portray themselves with ease in this brand new visual.
