M.I.A reworks Beyonce’s “Flawless” and it is dope. Renaming the song “Baddygirl 2”, she puts her own spin on the popular song with her signature eclectic and energetic sounds. The song also samples Bey’s “Diva” as well, and although she removes Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s speech, she brings her own feminist memo, “men and women are 50/50″. M.I.A released the song on twitter after not hearing from Queen B’s camp. It doesn’t measure up to the original of course, but I like it. Take a listen below.
