Manic Street Preachers Hiking Through Patagonia For Velindre Cancer Centre | Music News
Singer James Dean Bradfield and drummer Shaun Moore of the iconic rock band, Manic Street Preachers, take on an amazing challenge to help cancer patients. The two will begin the fund raising walk in November 2015, which will see them follow in the footsteps of their Welsh ancestors and become part of the Velindre group of 50. The charity event lasts over six days, and they say, “we will be carrying all our own kit, camping and walking up to 11 hours a day. Although this is a tough challenge, it is nothing compared to the challenge faced by people dealing with cancer“. Their target is to raise £6,000 each. Keep up to date the charity event here.
