December’s “Froot of the Month” has arrived. As promised, Marina Diamandis has revelaled the second single for her upcoming album FROOT. “Happy” is the title of the new track, and we assume this month’s “froot” is “lemon”. The album’s opening track is a piano ballad that moves away from Marina And The Diamonds‘ dance title track “Froot“. Though its mournful tone may be misleading, its lyrics lean on hope: “I believe in possibility, I believe someone’s watching over me/And finally I have found a way to be happy“.
