‘Me Before You’ Unseats ‘Warcraft: The Beginning’ To Top UK Box Office | Film News
The romantic comedy Me Before You may have drawn criticism, but you can’t deny its popular. The feature has unexpectedly topped the UK box office on its second week of release. Despite its dominance though, it has drawn criticism from disability campaigners – who were concerned by the films comments on assisted dying.
The film unseated last week’s leader Warcraft: The Beginning whose struggles to make up the massive budget that made the feature got even worse with the decline in opening figures that came with the start of Euro 2016, which didn’t affect Me Before You that much but unfortunately pushed the adaptation of Blizzard’s best known game down to fourth place in the rankings.
