Meek Mill Responds To Being ‘Banned’ From Toronto | Music News

Meek Mill is the latest star to get onto the Twitter feud band wagon but it has kind of back fired for him. It all started yesterday (July 22) when Nicki Minaj started on her own Twitter rant due to her “Anaconda” video not getting the recognition it deserved from the MTV Video Music Awards. She hinted that white, slim women get put up for nominations before a black woman does.

On the other hand, Minaj’s boyfriend Mill started a whole new Twitter row by exclaiming that Drake doesn’t write his own raps. He said, “stop comparing drake to me too… He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!“. In a surprise twist, instead of Drake answering back to the star, a Toronto city Councillor Norm Kelly jumped in, saying, “You’re no longer welcome in Toronto, @MeekMill

Mill’s response to the councillor was “I pray the real live forever and all the fake get exposed! The truth shall set Yall free lol“, before directly addressing the councillor saying, “Aye white man @norm what gives you the audacity to tell me I can’t come somewhere over me voicing my opinion! U sound like a thug lol“.

Whoops, I think this has just opened up a can of worms. It will be interesting to see how Drake responds to this, if he even does respond to it. As the story developed, it was reported earlier today that Meek Mill apologized to Nicki Minaj for his Twitter rant during their concert last night, while also shouting out Drake.
