When you think of a classroom filled with kids’ toy instruments, Metallica’s music is definitely not the kind that comes to mind. Even so, Jimmy Fallon invited the band to The Tonight Show, to give a special performance of their 1991 hit, “Enter Sandman”.

 

We would have never imagined such a hard rock song played with classroom instruments, and yet that’s what makes this so fun! And while you’d expect Fallon and The Roots to really get into it, frontman James Hetfield and company seem equally invested in those kids’ toys!

 

The Tonight Show host invited Adele for a similar performance a year ago, but seeing Metallica doing this is ten times more hilarious!
