Michael Jackson Impersonator & ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Finalist Lands Role In EastEnders | TV News
Shaheen Jafargholi reached the final of Britain’s most popular talent show in 2009 when he also performed at Michael Jackson‘s memorial in Los Angeles.
He was originally asked to appear on the This Is It tour but that was sadly cancelled after MJ’s death. He stunned audiences and critics alike with his young and cheeky style. However it turns out ITV’s BGT was just the start for this talented youngster.
Now the Welsh singer and actor will appear as 15-year-old son of Carmel Kazemi in the East End’s most infamous soap opera, EastEnders. After the news broke Shaheen said:
“I’m so excited to be joining the show. I’ve been a fan since I was a little kid so to now be a part of something so iconic is an honour.”
You can see Shaheen Jafargholi in his new BBC role some time later in the spring.
